Electrical Pilot

Terms of Service

Last updated 6 September 2026

Who we are

Electrical Pilot is business management software for electrical contractors, built and operated by Electrical Pilot Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17406845). By creating an account or using the app, you ("you", the contracting company and its staff) agree to these terms.

The service

Electrical Pilot provides customer and job management, quoting and invoicing, digital electrical certificates, calendar scheduling and online booking, and optional AI, marketing, and communication (email, SMS, WhatsApp) features. It is provided on a subscription basis to trade businesses, not to consumers.

Your account

  • You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your login details secure.
  • One company account may have multiple staff logins (Admin/Staff roles); the company account holder is responsible for who they invite and what access they're given.
  • New accounts start on a free trial; continued use after the trial requires an active paid subscription, billed and managed through Stripe.

Your data and your customers' data

You own the business data you put into Electrical Pilot - your customers, jobs, quotes, invoices, certificates, and photos. You're responsible for having a lawful basis to store your customers' details and to message them (by email, SMS, or WhatsApp) through the app. We don't access, use, or share your data except to operate the service, as set out in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for anything unlawful, or to send unsolicited or misleading messages to people who haven't agreed to hear from your business.
  • Attempt to access another company's account or data, or to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
  • Resell or provide the service to third parties outside your own business without our agreement.
  • Connect third-party accounts (WhatsApp, Facebook/Instagram, Stripe, accounting software) that you're not authorised to connect.

Third-party services

Electrical Pilot relies on third-party providers to operate - including Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, OpenAI, Twilio, Resend, Ideal Postcodes, Google (Firebase), Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and, if you choose to connect them, your own accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage). Your use of features built on those providers is also subject to their own terms. See our Privacy Policy for what each provider is used for.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update or change features over time, and will let you know about changes that materially affect how you use the service.

Liability

Electrical Pilot is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death, personal injury, or fraud.

Ending your account

You can stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms. See our Data Deletion page for how to request your data be deleted.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
